The former land of actor James Cagney, located near Ramona, California, has transformed into an essential wildlife sanctuary. This expansive grassland area offers vital habitats for various species. Acquired by The Nature Conservancy in 2003, the 417-acre site was supported through both public and private funding, becoming a crucial addition to the larger Ramona Grasslands Preserve.
