Meitei, Naga groups unite for Imphal rally against Kuki rebels
Meitei and Naga civil society organisations are holding a joint rally in Imphal to oppose Kuki militants. The rally, themed 'Chingmi-Tammi', aims to promote unity among indigenous communities. Organisers have demanded the abrogation of the Suspension of Operations agreement and protection for internally displaced families. They also called for a neutral central police force to replace the Assam Rifles in conflict areas.
