Met Gala 2027: Exhibit to celebrate everyday clothes
The Met Gala will unveil a new exhibition titled 'extraORDINARY: Fashion and the Poetics of the Everyday.' This exhibit will explore how designers reinterpret everyday clothing and materials, including denim and puffer jackets. The new theme emerged after the cancellation of a planned retrospective on designer John Galliano. Guests attending the gala will be encouraged to wear familiar garments, such as favorite jeans or T-shirts.
