IndiGo ordered to pay Rs 67,713 to passenger after denying him boarding
A district commission ordered IndiGo to refund a passenger Rs 12,713. The airline denied boarding despite a flight delay and the passenger's timely arrival. IndiGo failed to provide evidence proving check-in had closed. The commission found this a deficiency in service and unfair trade practice. The airline must also pay compensation and litigation costs.
