Karthi's Sardar 2 has finally hit the cinemas. The movie recorded an opening of Rs. 5.30 crore at the Indian box office. That's a decent start for the film. It collected Rs. 3.75 crore in Tamil Nadu on its opening day. Outside its home state, the movie fetched Rs. 1 crore from the Telugu states and Rs. 40 lakh from Karnataka.
