Tanzanian swimmer Collins Saliboko says Chad Le Clos's Commonwealth Games career, including a 19th medal won at Glasgow 2026 that made him the event's most decorated male athlete, has shaped his own belief that African swimmers can reach the podium. Saliboko, 24, competed in the 100m freestyle at Glasgow 2026 after making his Olympic debut at Paris 2024, and is next entered in the 200m freestyle.
