Court revives Pennsylvania couple's six-year fight to add drive-through at truck stop
After almost six years of legal back-and-forth, a Pennsylvania convenience store finally received the go-ahead for a drive-through window. Jyotsna and Anil Jivani's 2020 proposal faced initial denial from township officials. However, in a significant ruling from the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court in October 2026, judges overturned the lower court's verdict, affirming that the drive-through serves as a natural extension of their business, paving the way for construction approval.
