Priyadarshan: Bobby, Akshaye, Suniel were first choices for 'Haiwaan' villain, not Akshay Kumar
After the unveiling of 'Haiwaan's first-look posters featuring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, director Priyadarshan has revealed that Kumar wasn't his original pick to play the film's antagonist. In an interview recently, the filmmaker recalled approaching Bobby Deol and Akshaye Khanna first, before Akshay himself expressed interest in the role while they were shooting 'Bhooth Bangla.' Priyadarshan also opened up about why Haiwaan marks a refreshing return to the action-thriller genre.
