Nezam Hafiz, a talented cricketer originally from Guyana, lost his life in the tragic World Trade Center attacks. After relocating to the U.S., he proudly represented the American cricket team. In his honor, teammates organized memorial cricket events in New York, which persisted for years following the September 11 tragedy. A bat used during these heartfelt matches now resides in a museum, serving as a poignant reminder of his legacy.
