HC restrains calling Rajesh Khanna's bungalow 'haunted' or 'cursed'
The Bombay High Court has restrained media from labeling Rajesh Khanna's former bungalow as cursed. Justice Arif S Doctor ruled such descriptions were defamatory and violated the owner's rights. The current owner, Shashi Shetty, moved the court after seeing numerous negative online articles. The court found the owner justified in seeking this interim relief. This order remains in effect until the next hearing on August 21, 2026.
